Valedictorian's Scholarship

Scholarship Description
Valedictorian Scholarships are awarded to entering Louisiana freshmen who have been officially designated as valedictorian by their secondary school. Students are awarded a $5,000 scholarship renewable for four years (five years, for Architecture students) provided the student maintains full-time enrollment and a minimum 3.00 grade point average. If a secondary school designates more than one valedictorian and both (or all) valedictorians attend Tulane, the $5,000 will be divided equally among the students. The scholarships are guaranteed at the same amount awarded to the student for the remainder of their undergraduate career provided the student maintains a 3.00 cumulative grade point average and continuous enrollment in a full-time undergraduate division. Any "incomplete" grades must be resolved before eligibility for continuation of the scholarship can be determined.
