Distinguished Scholar Award

Scholarship Description
Merit-based aid to recognize scholastic achievement. $2,000 awarded to incoming first-year student; may be renewed every year thereafter if a 3.0 cumulative grade is maintained and no major or continuous disciplinary infractions incurred. To be considered for this scholarship, a prospective student must: Receive an unconditional acceptance to MMA; Be a recipient of a Presidential Achievement Scholarship; Women, regardless of major; Men enrolled in Marine Biology, Marine Science, or Marine Systems Engineering (4 or 5 year), Distinguishes oneself through academic achievement, school/community service, good citizenship, and career ambition. File the FAFSA.
