The Diane Zdenek Scholarship

Scholarship Description
Friends of Diane Zdenek, a well loved teacher of Latin in Columbia, Maryland have established a scholarship to honor her memory. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide funds to support an incoming student who plans to major in Ancient Studies at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and has demonstrated outstanding academic accomplishment. Preference will be given to high school graduates from Howard County. In the event no incoming student meets the criteria, the scholarship may be awarded to a current Ancient Studies major, to support his/her ability to participate in the Ancient Studies study/travel programs.
