- As many as 58 four-year, full-tuition scholarships are awarded annually to selected Boston residents graduating from Boston Public Schools. Students with high academic merit and leadership ability must be nominated by their schools' guidance counselors for the scholarships. Recipients' average high school GPA: 3.70 Average rank in class: top 6 percent Average SAT score: Critical Reading and Math = 1315, Writing = 640 Average ACT score: 24
