Dr. Marilyn White Barry, '58, Graduate Award for Academic Excellence

Scholarship Description
Was established in 2007 in honor of Dr. Marilyn White Barry, former dean of the graduate school at Bridgewater State College. This award is given to a Bridgewater State College undergraduate student or alumnus who has demonstrated outstanding achievement and is enrolled in a graduate program at the college. The award will be given annually in perpetuity by the donor and falls under the college's Annual Fund. In addition to a completed application, candidates must submit official graduate and/or undergraduate transcripts. The scholarship is awarded by the dean of the School of Graduate Studies and the scholarship committee. This is a one-time per student award and is not renewable. Amount of Award: $7,000.
