The Class of 1958 Scholarship Fund
- Scholarship Description
- To be eligible for this scholarship, applicant must be a full-time student, carrying 12 or more credits per semester, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and must major in English, with an emphasis in creative writing, for the duration of the scholarship. In addition to the application, applicants will be asked to submit a writing sample of up to ten pages of poetry, or up to thirty pages of prose: fiction or creative nonfiction, a letter of recommendation from someone familiar with the applicants work and a statement of purpose in applying for the award. Recipients of the award who continue to meet the above criteria, may reapply for the award up to three times. There is one annual award available in a variable amount. A General Application is required and must be submitted by March 1.
