Charles of the Class of 1923 and Mary Grant Charles, Jackson Class of 1920, in memory of their eldest son (1924–1934), for the benefit of any deserving students in any of the three colleges—Liberal Arts, Engineering, or Jackson—at the discretion of the college authorities.
