The Stephen and Bessie Cowey Scholarship

Scholarship Description
The Womanâ??s Guild Scholarship is a merit based award that can be used for a studentâ??s total cost of education. This is for both male and female students pursuing post-baccalaureate careers in medicine, dentistry, physician assistant, and physical therapy. To qualify students must demonstrate a minimum of a 3.8, a 1300 SAT CR&M (no less than 650 per section), as well as interest and past involvement in the health profession of their choice, preferably with volunteer experience. Scholarships range from $4000-$5000 and are renewable all four years if the student maintains a 3.5. This scholarship requires a separate application, which can be found on the Admission website. Deadline: December 1
