- Background: Edward Lieblein, Ph.D., Dean Emeritus of NSU's Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences (GSCIS) proudly served as Dean of GSCIS for more than 16 years. The fund was created to honor Dr. Lieblein's service as dean, and of his service to our nation in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Requirements: -Enrolled in master's or doctoral program at NSU's Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences. -Employed by a branch of the United States Government. -Submit a 500 word essay explaining how applicant's area of study at the Graduate School of Computer and information Sciences contributes to his or her job in the public sector. -Provide two letters of recommendation: one from an academic professional and one from the applicant's employer speaking to his or her commitment to public service.
