- Need and Merit Based Departmental Scholarship Requirements: (A)From the South Hampton Roads area of the Commonwealth of Virginia, to include Isle of Wight County and the cities of Newport News and Hampton, where South Hampton Roads is defined as the cities of Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach (B)enorlled on a full-time basis who must express a sincere desire to pursue an undergraduate degree in Accounting. Preference: Secondary school records of personal character, hard work, diligence and perseverance are especially worth of recognition w/o regard to past academic performance. Financial need and special family circumstances are given strong consideration.
