- The following Beginning Freshman Scholarships are available through the Scholarship Services Office. For more information, please call (985) 549-5116 or visit us in Room 120 of North Campus, Financial Aid. Southeastern Louisiana University is proud to announce some very exciting changes made in our awarding process for beginning freshmen scholarships. These changes were adopted in an effort to simplify the scholarship process, benefit a greater number of students, and enhance scholarship opportunities. The primary changes are as follows: Any student admitted to Southeastern with a 24 or higher ACT and a minimum 3.00 high school grade point average qualifies for a scholarship at Southeastern. Housing and meal supplement ONLY available to students living on campus. All scholarships are awarded for eight semesters. Although there is no longer a formal deadline, students are strongly encouraged to apply early. The application for admission serves as the application for scholarships as well.
