The Russell E. Miller History Prize
- Scholarship Description
- The purpose of the Jane E. Babin Scholarship Fund is to support scholarships for students majoring in business and/or economics who have completed at least 60 credit hours and can demonstrate their knowledge and experience gained in the field of business and/or economics. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA to apply for the scholarship. Applicants must submit a 500 word essay on a topic that will be chosen annually by the awards and functions committee of the business department. Applicants may use their portfolios in the development of their essay. The committee will narrow the field to a group of essays to be presented by the student authors at a program open to faculty and students of the business department. Students will be judged on the quality of their essay and their presentation.
