CMU Board of Trustees Scholarship
- Scholarship Description
- 1. Graduating seniors from Michigan high schools with both a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or above and an ACT composite score of at least 20 are automatically eligible for the Academic Honors Scholarship. The value of this scholarship is $2,000 per academic year. The scholarship is renewable for new freshmen for three consecutive years if a 3.25 cumulative GPA and full-time continuous enrollment are maintained. 2. All new transfer students entering directly from a Michigan community college with an associate’s degree or 56 hours of credits and a minimum grade point average of 3.50 or above are eligible for the Community College Academic Honors Scholarship. The value of this scholarship is $2.000 per academic year. The scholarship is renewable for new transfer students for one additional year if a 3.25 cumulative GPA and fulltime continuous enrollment are maintained 3. Students who rank first or second in their Michigan high school graduating class are automatically eligible for the Outstanding High School Student Scholarship. The value of this scholarship is $3,000 per academic year for a maximum of four academic years. Scholarships are automatically renewed providing the student maintains full-time continuous enrollment at CMU with a 3.25 (or higher) cumulative GPA. The Outstanding High School Student Scholarship replaces the Academic Honors Scholarship.
