Award of Excellence (Michigan Resident)

Scholarship Description
This scholarship provides awards of $4,800 ($1,200 a year for up to 4 years). Recipients of this award must have a 3.5 grade point average and a 26 ACT composite score and a complete admission application to Grand Valley by December 31st. Students must be graduates of Michigan high schools and Grand Valley must be the first institution they attend following high school graduation. This scholarship is renewable for three years provided the student maintains a 3.25 grade point average at Grand Valley. The student must also enroll full-time and have completed 25 GVSU credits after the first year, 55 credits after the second year, and 85 credits after the third year. Grade Level for the Upcoming Year: Freshmen Grade Point Average: 3.5+ Residency Status: Michigan Resident.
