Eligibility Criteria: Submit completed official application form postmarked by April 1; Be a woman 25 years of age or older; Not be a Virginia BPW Foundation Trustee, or related to a trustee; Be a citizen of the United States; Be a resident of Virginia; Be officially accepted into an accredited program or course of study at a Virginia college or university; Complete course of study within 2 years of August 1 following the application deadline (the scholarship may not be used for study at the doctoral level except for law and medicine); Demonstrate need for financial assistance to upgrade skills or education; Have a definite plan to use the desired training to improve chances for upward mobility in the workforce. Award Amount: $100-$1,000 for one year.
