- Qualification Criteria The Scholarship is awarded based on the following: General: Financial Need Academic Level/Class: Undergraduate / Freshman Undergraduate / Sophomore Undergraduate / Junior Undergraduate / Senior Major in College: Nursing Renewable: This Scholarship is Renewable To qualify, candidates for this award must be pursing a degree in nursing evident by admittance in MSU College of Nursing or MSU pre-nursing degree in nursing evident by admittance in MSU College of Nursing or MSU pre-nursing program. Preference will be given to candidates who are single parents with financial responsibility for their children. If no candidates are identified through MSU traditional degree granting programs, then consideration may be given to students in the College's RN and BSN program.
