President’s Scholarship

Scholarship Description
This scholarship was established in September 2001 in memory of Stephanie Marek who taught music and interdisciplinary courses at Neumann College for twenty years. She served as associate director of the Theater Ensemble from its inception until her death in December 2000, and was the director of the College's community chorus during the 1980s. To be eligible, a student will need to have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and have completed 60 or more credits. The student must demonstrate a level of achievement in the performing arts; a commitment to the performing arts at Neumann College; a commitment to issues of social justice; an ability to articulate how the performing arts can be used in the interests of social justice.
