Science Scholarships

Scholarship Description
The Courtland Agre and Theodore Hanwick Science Scholarships recognize incoming freshmen of high academic science achievement. The renewable award of $10,000 per year is awarded to all eligible proposed chemistry or physics majors. Students must be in the top 30 percent of their high school class or on national tests (ACT or SAT), have a grade point average of 3.0 or above in the proposed science major, have completed intermediate algebra or pre-calculus, and be a full-time student in the day program. No scholarship application is required. Students who receive a science scholarship will not receive a Regents’ award. Amount: $10,000 per year. Deadline: Accepted for admission by May 1 for fall enrollment.
