- Scholarship Description
- Scholarship to an outstanding student who demonstrates academic excellence by earning the highest grade point average within the English major after completing a minimum of 21 credit hours in that major at Geneseo. This scholarship is awarded to a junior and paid in the student's senior year. The scholarship is funded by Dr. Walter Freed in loving memory of his mother, the late Natalie Selser Freed. The recipient is selected by the English department.
