Speech and Debate Scholarships

Scholarship Description
In recognition of excellence in Speech or Debate (forensics) and the potential for outstanding contributions to the Concordia community, the college has established Speech and Debate Scholarships valued at $2,500 per year renewable for four years for a total scholarship value of $10,000. Recipients are expected to be a member of either the speech or debate team, both of which are nationally recognized. To be eligible for a Speech or Debate Scholarship, you must be an incoming first-year or transfer student who has been accepted to Concordia College, have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA (non-weighted), and have exhibited proficiency in speech or debate. The initial screening will be based on the short Speech or Debate Scholarship application, which includes a forensics resumé and brief statement related to your forensics accomplishments.
