Speech and Debate Scholarships
- Scholarship Description
- In recognition of excellence in Speech or Debate (forensics) and the potential for outstanding contributions to the Concordia community, the college has established Speech and Debate Scholarships valued at $2,500 per year renewable for four years for a total scholarship value of $10,000. Recipients are expected to be a member of either the speech or debate team, both of which are nationally recognized. To be eligible for a Speech or Debate Scholarship, you must be an incoming first-year or transfer student who has been accepted to Concordia College, have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA (non-weighted), and have exhibited proficiency in speech or debate. The initial screening will be based on the short Speech or Debate Scholarship application, which includes a forensics resumé and brief statement related to your forensics accomplishments.
