Music Scholarship

Scholarship Description
Awarded to first time freshman or transfer students who, by audition, show outstanding musicianship. Auditions are held at North Central University and National Fine Arts during during the school year prior to the students entrance into college. To complete an Audition Request Form visit the Fine Arts Department web page at: Auditions times will be given after the request form has been received by the Fine Arts Department. Please be aware of the other requirements that are listed on the web page for the audition. If you have any questions call the Fine Arts Department at 612-343-4700. • Awards up to $2,500 merit scholarship based on audition (renewed each year based on performance). • You do not need to be a music major to apply. • Involvement in a college music ensemble and private music lesson on the auditioned instrument is required. • Audition deadlines are March to receive a scholarship for the following school year. • Awards are given after a student has been accepted for admission to North Central.
