Scholarship Description
Dixie Crow Chapter - Association of Old Crows - The spirit of the Dixie Crow scholarship program is to promote awareness of the defense industry and to encourage students to consider a career in defense-related jobs. Several renewable $1,000 scholarships are available to full-time students pursuing degrees in engineering, hard sciences or information technology. Recipients must be U.S. citizens with financial need and live in one of the following Georgia counties: Baldwin, Bibb, Bleckley, Crawford, Dodge, Dooly, Houston, Jones, Laurens, Monroe, Peach, Pulaski, Taylor, Telfair, Twiggs or Wilcox. The scholarship is renewable if the recipient maintains an overall GPA of 2.50 or higher, while receiving no course grade less than 2.00, and continues to be enrolled as a full-time student.
