Judson P. Letven Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship Description
In honor of her son’s memory, Joyce Letven has generously established a scholarship fund for the graduate studies of the psychology and/or counseling named the Judson P. Letven Memorial Scholarship. Two $1,000 scholarships will be available on an annual basis. The final selection for the Judson P. Letven Memorial Scholarship will be made by the School of Graduate and Professional Programs Scholarship Administrative Committee. The factors considered are outlined on the nomination form. Applicants must: Be enrolled in a graduate level program at Saint Mary’s University School of Graduate and Professional Programs, and have completed at least six credits toward a degree. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale from all graduate work at Saint Mary’s University. Demonstrate financial need. Pursue the study of psychology and/or counseling at the graduate level. Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota reserves the right not to award a scholarship if no qualified applications are received. In circumstances where no candidates meet all the eligibility criteria, the university will exercise its best judgment in awarding the scholarship to the student(s) whose characteristics most closely match the established eligibility criteria.
