Central Bible College is an Assemblies of God institution of higher learning having a Bible-centered curriculum designed to educate and train ministers, missionaries, and Christian workers to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in and through the local church.
The Presidential Leadership Award provides full and half tuition scholarships to well-rounded students who have proven to be effective leaders in their church, school, and community. Students must show a consistent commitment to Christ, ministry, and high academic achievement. This scholarship is only available for students entering in the fall semester.
Minimum ACT score of 24/SAT score of 1110 to qualify.
Minimum High School cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Three-page double-spaced essay on Ministerial Leadership that should answer the question: What are the three most important qualities of a leader in ministry? Students should tailor his or her answer to match the ministry he or she plans to pursue during and after education at CBC.
Two letters of recommendation; one from a pastor at the applicant's church, and the other from a mentor or Christian friend. The letters should reflect a personal knowledge of the applicant's ministry pursuits, leadership, and involvement in the church and community.
The Presidential Leadership Award cannot be awarded in conjunction with the Academic Scholarship. If eligible for both, the applicant will receive the larger award.
