Non-Resident Service Area Scholarship For Incoming Freshmen
Scholarship Description
Eligibility: Students who graduate from a high school outside of Missouri, but within the Service Area of Missouri Southern (or have obtained a GED and live within the university service area) and have an ACT composite score of 21 or a Admission Index of 75 or rank in the top 25% of their high school class are eligible for a Non-resident Service Area Scholarship. This scholarship is stackable with the Presidential or Excellence scholarship for students who reside in the Residence Halls. It's renewable for a total of 8 semesters with an earned 2.5 GPA each semester and completion of 12 hours per semester. The non-resident service area scholarship will not cover any deposit, rental, or student activity fee(s). Amount: Equal to the amount of the non-resident portion of the tuition for enrollment of at least 12 credit hours and not to exceed 16 credit hours per semester.
