Enterprise Holdings Scholars Program

Scholarship Description
The Enterprise Holdings Scholars Program was established at Washington University thanks to a generous donation from Enterprise Holdings. The Enterprise Scholars Program makes it possible for a minimum of 30 to 40 deserving students each year to have an exceptional educational experience at Washington University. Each year, some of the Enterprise scholarships are awarded to students selected on criteria established for the Universityâ??s John B. Ervin Scholars Program. The Ervin Scholars Program, named in memory of the Universityâ??s first African-American dean, administers scholarships to exceptional students based on academic merit, leadership, and commitment to community service. The program, which is open to all qualified applicants, regardless of race, is also intended to help expand the diversity of the Universityâ??s student body. The remaining Enterprise scholarships support talented students who require financial assistance to attend Washington University. In addition, approximately 10 percent of the Enterprise Holdings scholarships each year are reserved for high school graduates and community college transfer students from the St. Louis area.
