- Qualification Criteria The Scholarship is awarded based on the following: Academic Level/Class: Lifelong Graduate / Lifelong Graduate Undergraduate / Junior Undergraduate / Senior Major in Department: Teacher Education High School in State: Michigan Renewable: This Scholarship is Renewable Recipients shall be graduates of a high school in the State of Michigan and shall be admitted students in the College of Education at the junior, senior, or post B.A. level (intern year). The recipients shall be selected on the basis of their interest in teaching at the elementary level (K-8), and shall have exhibited in their extra-curricular activities a concern for high moral values and good citizenship. Recipients must present a written statement and letters of recommendation.
