Athletic Scholarship

Scholarship Description
Through a tuition initiative called the Metropolitan Advantage Program (MAP), residents of Pottawattamie, Mills and Harrison Counties of Iowa will be eligible to attend undergraduate and graduate programs at UNO for 150 percent of resident tuition. UNO also will offer Iowa undergraduate students in this three-county area an opportunity to reduce tuition even further through the Maverick Advantage Scholarship (MAS). To qualify for the Maverick Advantage Scholarship, incoming undergraduate students from the three designated counties in Iowa must present a 23 or higher ACT composite score or rank in the top 25 percent of their high school classes. Transfer students must present a 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. on a 4.0 scale. The Maverick Advantage Scholarship will cover the difference between the resident tuition rate and the MAP rate of 150% of resident tuition.
