Construction Roundtable of New Jersey Scholarship Program

Scholarship Description
The purpose of the Construction Roundtable of New Jersey Scholarship Program is to recognize and advance outstanding Community College-students who will be pursuing a construction-related field at a four-year New Jersey college or university. Construction Roundtable Scholars will receive awards ranging from $2,000-$3,000 per year for two years, which are to be used toward tuition. Our goal is to award a minimum of five scholarships each academic year. The CRT-NJ has put together a selection committee of senior-level executives to review all applications and select the most appropriate applicants. Each applicant will be reviewed by CRT-NJ for potential internship programs. Members of the CRT-NJ will contact applicants on an individual basis to participate in the internship program. Awards are available to students enrolled in a New Jersey Community College who have been accepted at, and are planning to attend, a New Jersey four-year college or university and will be enrolled as a first semester junior standing (equivalent credit hours). Applicants must be studying a construction-related field (i.e. engineering, architecture, construction management and/or design, etc.). To be considered for a Construction Roundtableof New Jersey Scholarship, a student must have their application received no later than April 30 and meet the following criteria: Accepted at New Jersey Institute of Technology as a first semester transfer student. Pursuing a degree in a construction-related field (engineering, architecture, construction management and/or design). Possess a minimum 3.00 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Be enrolled as a full-time student. Be interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry. U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
