National Merit Scholarship

Scholarship Description
This is a four-year scholarship awarded to students who have been selected by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) as finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Academic Program, an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. To enter the competition, a student must be either a U.S. citizen or a U.S. lawful permanent resident (intending to become a U.S. citizen at the earliest opportunity allowed by law); take the PSAT/NMSQT® in the specified year of the high-school program; and be enrolled full time in high school and planning to enroll full time in college immediately upon graduation. To maintain eligibility, you must be enrolled full time and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. This scholarship may be adjusted if you receive additional gift-aid assistance that would cause you to exceed your total cost of attendance.
