Scholarship Description
Trustee Scholarships are generally awarded to a limited number of entering full-time freshmen with the most outstanding academic achievement and cocurricular activities. Trustee scholars have combined critical reading and math SAT scores exceeding 1350 and rank in the top 10% of their high school class. Your performance on the writing section of the SAT will be carefully evaluated and will be considered in the determination of your final scholarship award. Application Process: A student must first file an admissions application and then complete and file the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1, but no later than February 15 to ensure maximum eligibility. Range of Awards: $16,500 - $24,000 depending upon the individual's academic profile. Special Provisions: Students must submit a FAFSA each year and must meet the following minimum standards: (1) continued enrollment in full-time study (minimum 12 credits) leading to a bachelor's degree; (2) cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 at the end of the freshman year, and 3.3 for every year thereafter; and (3) the student is not subject to any disciplinary action. Notification: Eligible students will receive a letter of notification from the Scholarship Committee.
