- Scholarship Description
- The Joseph Richard Richardson Scholarship was established in 1987 as a result of a gift made to the Gen. Mark W. Clark Campaign for The Citadel Tomorrow by Mrs. Richardson in memory of her husband Joseph Richard Richardson, Citadel Class of 1931. The scholarship will be awarded to Citadel cadets who meet traditionally high standards of The Citadel. The first award was made in 2000.
