    Mission Statement Elmira College offers its students, in a supportive and collaborative environment, both liberal and professional education of sufficient breadth and depth to enable them to become more responsible and productive in society.
    Achieving this mission depends on accomplishing the following College objectives:
    Students at Elmira College will:
    I. Develop and employ skills in communication and critical thinking;

Achievement Scholarship for Transfer Students

Scholarship Description
Awarded to all accepted transfer students who have a combined cumulative GPA at all colleges previously attended of 3.0 -3.29 on a scale of 4.0. Beginning with transfer students entering Elmira College in the Fall of 2009, $7,500 per year. Renewable with an Elmira College GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 for the number of terms normally required to earn the baccalaureate degree.
