Sister Catherine Marie O’Brien Distinguished Scholarship in Secondary Education

Scholarship Description
Two of these scholarships will be awarded each year to students pursuing both certification in secondary education and a major in a science, mathematics, or foreign language. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 academic index. In addition to a scholarship award, recipients will receive a $2,500 stipend and on-campus housing for one summer (either sophomore or junior year), which is spent conducting research with a faculty member in the students major. Students must be in the chosen major at the time of the research project. To be considered, a student must submit a complete application to the College by February 15.
