- Scholarship Description
- Created in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and in recognition of his beliefs, this scholarship is granted to low-income minority undergraduate and graduate students with high levels of academic achievement, leadership ability, and outstanding character. Application requirements and awards are determined on a semester-by-semester basis. NYIT scholarships and grants are for tuition only, divided equally between fall and spring semesters. They are not applicable to summer session attendance. Amount of award: Up to $1,000 per year
