Scholarship Description: At time of disbursement of funds, the student needs to be enrolled at least half time (6 hrs, undergrad; 5 hrs, grad) as a UNI student working toward a degree or certification, demonstrate financial need and have out-of-pocket child care expenses. While all classified students (undergrad & grad) are encouraged to apply, priority will be given to first BA students. FAFSA Required: Yes (FAFSA Website). Amount of Award: $500 to $1000 per year. Comments: The $1,000 is awarded for the academic year, fall and spring; $500 per semester.
