LSAMP - Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation

Scholarship Description
This program is supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and is designed to encourage students from under-represented minority groups to pursue studies in science, mathematics, and engineering disciplines. NSF guidelines define an under-represented minority as being of African-American, Latino-Hispanic, Native American, Alaskan Native, Hawaiian Native, or Native Pacific Islander heritage. Stipends, if available, are based upon a student’s continuing eligibility in the program and maintaining a 3.00 cumulative grade point average. Students must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
