    Mission Statement Elizabeth City State University, a constituent institution of The University of North Carolina, offers baccalaureate programs in the arts and sciences, professional and pre-professional areas, as well as master's degrees in selected disciplines.

    Originally an institution for African-American students, the university's rich heritage provides a strong background for its increasingly multicultural student body. ECSU Foundation Scholarships

Scholarship Description
Incoming students must have a 2.5 high school GPA 1200 SAT1 score or 17 on the ACT, apply for financial aid and admissions by March 15th to be eligible for a Foundation Scholarship. Students are ranked based on their SAT / ACT scores and GPA and are awarded until funds are no longer available.
