All freshmen nominees for Honors scholarships are invited to be interviewed and write an Honors Essay. Awards for freshmen and sophomores are up to $5,000 annually, renewable up to four years. Honors scholarships are renewable for three years if the recipient completes a minimum of 30 semester hours each academic year.
