Freshman Honor Scholarships Freshman year

Scholarship Description
Candidates are restricted to residents of the United States. The Scholar selection process will focus on academic excellence as well as demonstrated leadership ability, past activities in both school and community setting, ability to express oneself in writing, and evidence of personal initiative and motivation. To be considered for scholarships, you must submit your NC State Undergraduate Admissions Application by November 1. This is a highly competitive process. Past Scholarship recipients have had an average SAT of 1440 and a weighted high school grade point average of 4.6. Approximately thirty scholarships will be awarded to the entering class of about 3500 students.
