Holding Scholarship
- Scholarship Description
- The University provides each year up to one renewable scholarship valued at full tuition to a student from North Carolina (with strong preference given to applicants from eastern North Carolina) who has shown strong academic talent and an exceptional promise in civic leadership. These scholarships, begun in 1988 and provided by the Holding family of eastern North Carolina, are awarded to students who have completed the admissions application. Holding Scholars have the opportunity to apply for summer grants for research, travel, and study.
