Joseph G. Gordon Scholarships

Scholarship Description
Wake Forest awards Joseph G. Gordon scholarships to students who show exceptional promise and achievement and who are members of constituencies traditionally underrepresented at Wake Forest. Gordon Scholarships have been awarded since 1986, and up to seven Gordon Scholars are chosen annually. Each Gordon Scholarship covers the annual cost of tuition, room, and board, plus $1,500 for personal expenses. Gordon Scholars are encouraged to apply for up to $2,000 for a research, study, or travel project during each of the three summers between the first and senior years. Gordon Scholars also receive an extra $500 allowance for expenses related to one semester at a Wake Forest overseas program. Approximately twenty finalists are invited to campus for interviews and are notified by March 1.
