George W. Daverio Freshman Scholarship
- Scholarship Description
- Established in 1994, this scholarship is awarded to an entering freshman majoring in accounting who graduated from an area high school. This scholarship is funded by the Daverio endowment. It can be renewed each year if the student maintains a 3.40 minimum grade point average and continues as an accounting major. Selection of recipients is determined by the School of Accountancy Scholarship Committee on the basis of academic merit.
