Advisory Board BS/MS Accounting Scholar

Scholarship Description
This scholarship is funded by the Advisory Board of the School of Accountancy. Designed to attract, retain and support outstanding students who plan to become professional accountants and will pursue the School of Accountancy’s Accelerated BS/MS Accounting program. Scholars will receive $1,000 each year for five years ($5,000 total award). Awards will be made at the beginning of each academic year to outstanding entering freshmen who have selected accounting as a major and have pre-registered for the School’s Accelerated BS/MS Accounting program. All scholars must satisfy the program’s criteria to receive formal admission at the end of their junior year. Scholars must maintain a 3.0 or better GPA (accounting and overall) and be in good standing as an accounting major to continue their eligibility. The Board will offer three BS/MS Accounting Scholarships.
