- Amount: $1,280 Deadline: February 1, 2008 At the time of his death, Ed Kelly was chair of The Evergreen State College Board of Trustees and a Vancouver, Washington attorney in private practice who was passionate about social justice. The Ed Kelly Memorial Scholarship is offered to a new transfer or currently enrolled student with junior or senior standing attending at least half time who demonstrates a creative insight of how fairness and political and social justice results in effective change. Financial need will be considered. Requirements Letter of application, not to exceed two pages, that describes how you would or have used these values to affect life as you know it.
