The purpose of the Teacher Development Scholarship Program is to provide assistance to teachers to enhance their abilities as educators within a school setting. It is not intended to prepare teachers to leave the education profession or to make a career change. Tuition scholarships are available to all licensed teachers and to those currently teaching in private or parochial school systems. The scholarship will reduce tuition for regular graduate courses by thirty-three percent. The Teacher Development Scholarship is also available for a qualified teacher who wishes to take graduate classes in Biology, Chemistry, Education, English, History, Humanities, Mathematics, or Physics.
