Scholarship Description
National Merit Finalists – The National Merit Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. National Merit Finalists, (who are not receiving a National Merit $2,500 Scholarship or Corporate-sponsored Merit Scholarship), who list Miami as their first choice school, are eligible to receive a renewable college-sponsored scholarship.
