- Scholarship Description
- This endowed scholarship was established in 1990 by Creighton University to honor the late Mildred Brown, founder of the Omaha Star newspaper. Preference for this $1,500 award is given to minority high school seniors from the Omaha area. Criteria include financial need, academic achievement and high school journalistic activity. Renewable with a minimum 2.75 GPA.
