- In 2005 the Urbana University Foundation established this scholarship in recognition and gratitude to Bob and Diane McConnell of Urbana, OH, for their dedication to and support of Urbana University. Diane McConnell has been a member of the University’s Board of Trustees since 1997. The scholarship is given to assist a non-traditional age student enrolled at the Urbana University who has financial need.
