Scholarship Description
Established in 1986 by Perry T. Demming with a gift of real estate valued in excess of $23,000, this scholarship provides financial assistance to qualified and deserving University of Akron students who are members of the Ohio Epsilon chapter of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. The initial criteria shall govern this scholarship fund for an unspecified period of time or until the donor designates another income beneficiary at The University of Akron. The scholarship award shall be allocated by the scholarship committee of the Ohio Epsilon Chapter of Phi Delta Theta and shall cover all or part of tuition, fees, books, and room and board.
